The Musaffah Industrial Regional Road Network Improvements (076 MIR) project is a strategic initiative undertaken by the Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT) to enhance the road infrastructure in Abu Dhabi. With the growing industrial and commercial activity in the Musaffah Industrial Area (MI), Mohamed Bin Zayed City (MBZ), and Abu Dhabi Industrial City (ICAD), an efficient and modernized road network is essential to support traffic flow, improve connectivity, and reduce congestion. The project focuses on upgrading key transport corridors, ensuring free-flow traffic movement, and validating previous designs to align with current transportation infrastructure demands. The plan includes a comprehensive review and improvement strategy to optimize road network functionality, enhance safety, and
accommodate future developments.
